Dear Mrs. Gordon:

This letter is to thank you, with my deepest appreciation, for all of the hard work that you did to get my mother and I into our new home in Brentwood. Your truly tireless efforts over the course of nearly two years to find just the right place for us, and the huge struggle to sell my condo, made these deals work when surely they would have fallen apart with another agent.

Since my mother and I were not of the same mind in our requirements for our new property, I often felt that we were being very difficult clients to work with, but you were always gracious and cooperative when deals crashed at the last second, after you had invested many hours in trips to the Delta and had made several international phone calls. It had to be frustrating for you, but you never had anything but a genuine smile on your face. When it came time to buy our new home, you smoothed the way by putting us in touch with the right people, especially Ellen Waltrip of the Mortgage Market. I also have come to deeply appreciate your choice of home inspector, as his integrity in insisting that there was something wrong with the roof was validated in this winter's hard rains. Without his report, I might be facing an expensive repair.

But your most herculean effort came when you attempted to sell my condominium in Livermore. I felt that it was a deal-breaker if the condo was not sold, and the efforts of you and your family to paper the streets of Livermore with flyers in 100+ degree weather were really fantastic. I am fairly certain that my condo is the only one that was sold in the last year that was not a foreclosure, and this is all due to you. Even after a buyer was found, the mortgage company performed so terribly in the assumption process that this deal might have evaporated, but you always kept after them, until the deal was finally done.

I feel as though my life's dream has come true living out here, and I can truly say that it is because of my luck in securing you as an agent. It would be my pleasure to give you my highest recommendation to anyone who asked my about your performance as an agent, and as a friend. Thank you so much, Terri.
